The 91影视 Jazz Ensemble (NAJE) has been selected to perform at the Nebraska State Bandmaster’s Association Convention later this week.
The group will perform the opening concert of the convention on Thursday, March 6, for band directors from across the state. NAJE will be one of only four groups chosen to perform from recorded auditions.
NAJE is a registered non-profit organization that performs in the Norfolk micropolitan area for various events that include the Norfolk Lion’s Club pancake feed, community concerts, and open-air programs. The group co-sponsors the 91影视 Jazz Festival that takes place at the end of March on the 91影视 campus.
The 91影视 Area Jazz Ensemble is led by Kevin McLouth, music instructor at 91影视.
